After 4 years of travel Camping in our RV, it was time for an upgrade! We travel a lot with our RV in tow. More often then not, staying at locations will poor cell service or NO cell service at all. Every year we enjoy at least 35 days at parks that have ZERO cell signal unless you complete a 45 minute hike up the mountain or drive 25 minutes. I found myself hiking at least 3 times daily to gain signal and get some work done. Good for health, not good just to send a quick email. I was almost going to skip the trip this year due to work constraints.I figured this was the year to see if a signal booster could help. I spoke with many other RVer's and campers, all of which had NO service. One RV did have a signal booster from another company and complained how he can barely get service, ONE BAR if he is lucky using his booster.Three days after receiving this weBoost Drive, we were on our way to "dead cell zone of North America". I decided to use it in the car then move it to the Travel Trailer when we arrived. Normally we loose cell service many times on the way, then all service goes dead 2 miles from camping area. Our 8 hour drive was a good test of this device in the car, we NEVER lost signal. Even in the areas through the mountains we normally drop for 10-30 minutes at a time, we had very good signal strength. This device delivered signal in the car and all the way to our camp site with only 2 drops in cell service as we entered a mountain range and still had 1 bar signal in Jeep at camp site. Now the true test, and see if this little booster could deliver signal in the RV. I plugged it in, wired the antenna to a high spot on the roof. Low and behold, I had 1 Bar of signal. Tried to make a call, no dice. I tried moving the antenna and was able to find a better spot on the roof that gave my phone a much better signal 2-3 bars 4G at -98dB. Now that is pretty good! Then power-cycled cell off/on (Airplane mode on/off) I saw LTE pop up at -107dB. Took my phone out of the weBoost cradle and immediately dropped to 1 bar -119dB, then NO SERVICE. Back in cradle, and like magic, got a signal. I tried calls, data, etc. everything worked flawless. This booster worked beyond what I expected or hoped for. For the first time in years, I can relax on a remote camping vacation knowing I can take care of work related issues if they arise. I then tried tethering other devices to smartphone and we all had respectable data coverage, enough to actually stream video at night.I know this was a long winded review... but I am so excited this worked so well! I struggle with taking vacations due my work, and being able to enjoy more time with the family this trip has been priceless. I wanted to try the more expensive weBoost model (The one that you can mount in an RV), but the price was just to expensive for us right now. I think the higher end models will provide even better signal and offer more options of device connectivity.BTW, posting this review as I look at an amazing mountain range, and have plans on extending our trip since I can finally work without connectivity issues. Already told about 10 other RV's about this product as I see them holding there phones in the air searching for signal. I think I should start selling these myself. Everyone of them clicked "Buy it Now".
