Description
The PT-571 HDMI over Twisted Pair Transmitter converts an HDMI signal to a single twisted pair signal. When coupled with a PT-572 receiver, the unit allows transmission of signals up to a distance of 330’ (100m) via STP (shielded twisted pair) cables. It offers data rates up to 1.65Gbps, and is compatible with HDTV, HDCP, HDMI, and 3D signals. The unit allows transfer of EDID and HDCP signals from source to display. With LED status lights, the unit indicates the detection of input signals and transmission of output signals. The transmitter powers the receiver via a single connection. Being compact (2.4 x 2.1 x 1" / 6.2 x 5.2 x 2.4cm), 4 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-4PT rack adaptor. Purchased this with the PT-572Plus to run an HDMI cable around 100 ft. I plugged the transmitter and receiver in and it worked right away. You only need power on one side of the system which is also really nice.Will definitely purchase again if I need to do any more long HDMI runs.
