It works... Now the Valve leaks extra water into the ice maker and freezes everything behind the ice maker. Definitely the last LG anything I buy. This fridge is only 3 years old.Exact fit and functions. What more can you ask for.Exact replacement for my LG refrigerator. Original design is poor, and this replacement is the same. It works just fine, but I hope that LG awill consider a stronger part for future designs.My problem turned out to be that one of the two solenoid mounting screws was left off at the factory.
