For years I have had programmable keyboards that provided many functions on the non-QUERTY keys but I have not been able to find replacements. This Cherry had a lot of promise. It had 30 keys that can be programmed independently of the QUERTY keys and it provides all the standard keys for a Windows 10 keyboard. This key board looked very promising but it came without any documentation as to how to program it and there is nothing on the company website. I am told by the seller it is because the company went "green" so it no longer provides written instructions or software. Tried to contact Technical Support in US. Reached an answering machine and was told that I would receive a return call but the call never came.I like the keyboard. It is compact and easily fits into my keyboard drawer and I can type very fast on it. Would have prefered that the keyboard be a bit longer so that the number and cursor keys were located in the standard layout. I think CHERRY is missing a golden opportunity to produce keyboards that offfice users can program. My current board has keys for copy, cut, and paste, as well as keys for switching between documents. It also has a shutdown key for Windows, in addition to media keys. And it has programmable keys. I have keys that open the programs I most use.But without any means to program the programmable keys, I have to return the keyboard and Amazon won't pay the shipping costs because it was purchased from an independent seller and eventhough it isn't usable.
