Stopped going forward/backwards after just a few uses. I tried emailing customer service to see if there is a replacement part but received no response. For $100, I would think it would last a little longer.Customer service responded to my complaint via email and is trying to help fix the issue. Will update.UPDATE: Customer service resolved the issue. Will purchase more RCs from this brand knowing that if there are any issues, I can rely on customer service to correct the issue.If anyone else is having an issue with the truck not moving, it is easy to take a part with just 7-10 screws and open the gear box, most likely you will find one of the gears is loose and can easily be fixed by snapping it back into place. Also, if the truck doesn't turn anymore, it could be simply a wire that needs to be soldered back into place.It might have some flaws but otherwise a fun truck with good customer service if needed.Bought this for my 6 year old grandsons birthday. It has some cool features & was a big hit. The truck & trailer both work as stated. Truck battery lasts 20 to 30 minutes, trailer a lot longer as it isn't working all the time. The two battery packs, one in the truck & another in the trailer, are the only real issue. First, they have a slow charge time - a couple of hours to a full charge. Second, they have to be removed for charging. This involves turning the truck & trailer over, removing a small Phillips head screw and cover, disconnecting the pack from the toy & connecting it to the charger. Reverse the procedure to put the charged packs back in. A lot of hassle for 20 minutes of constant play time. It would have been so simple to put a small jack on the side of the truck & the trailer where the charger could be plugged in. I ordered the same connectors, tied them in parallel with the battery pack so they can now be charged without removing them. This is the only thing keeping it from a 5 star toy.Not going to lie it’s pretty cool to mess around with just wish that it was more Powerful and they don’t really tell you what size motor it is. like it won’t go through grass just FYI but I’m showing you the inside and it’s pretty sad for how much we paid for this. Going to try to upgrade the motor more on that later tho. And the wheels no grip so when you try to drive it inside you spin out so either make it heavier or put tires that have grip. And the noises it makes omg the first five minutes I had it on I wanted to punt it through the wall. Anyways oh wait and the controller sticks get suck sometimes. And it needs a bigger battery too. That’s not all I have to say about this truck but it’s what you need to know. but if it’s for a kid he or she will love it like I said it’s pretty cool just wish it was better.Nice product, but not good precision stopping, turning, and you will not get very clean control when doing so. Avoid purchasing this if you are a professional rc hobby type of person that expects a high level of performance! The R/C toy, and 2. Customer service.1. The toy seems to be well made. It operates as expected. I do not know whether it will be reliable long-term. The original toy I purchased broke unexpectedly within 3 weeks. From what I could deduce, the drive motor failed. The replacement seems to be working, but only time will tell if it holds up.2. After the initial toy broke, I reached out to the manufacturer concerning repair. Although there was a few days delay in their reply, they were courteous and asked for specifics on the issue. I will note that if you must send a video to demonstrate the problem, you will need to do so outside of the Amazon system since they won't forward videos. They reviewed the problem and offered to replace the toy, which they did. My only complaint is it took 3-4 months to do so. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt on why it took as long as it did because they have honored their commitment.My husband relax by play with his trucks twice a week, ‘this truck just stop working . Only had it 3 monthsand 10 days.. 96 dollars it’s a little bit of money. Don’t buy…..My son loves it. It was for Christmas and it was exactly what he wanted. Even my brother get in on playing with it. It is a big hit in my home.
