Easy installation. Worked first time. Time will tell how long it continues to work. It is interesting to note that the igniter in the LG stove remains glowing the entire time the oven is on (or in this case, the broiler). It continues to be "on" as long as the broiler is on. I would have thought it would only stay on when lighting the gas ... and turn off once the gas is ignited ... but in fact is that it stays on until you turn off the broiler. The oven igniter works the same way. It makes me wonder if this design is the reason it failed in a few years ... and if this one will burn out in the next few years. I don't know. It's just a thought. So far ... so good.
